For a long time, Joseph Bologne de Saint-Georges stood in Mozart's shadow as 'the black Mozart'. Young star baroque violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte and the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century are not content with this, and finally place the two composers side by side as equals.

Théotime Langlois de Swarte is part of a new generation of French baroque musicians who find freedom in historical performances that have something cool about them. At the same time, this generation is achieving a perfection and purity that has long seemed impossible. Combined with an infinite curiosity for new old music and incredible creativity in creating programs is hip (historically informed practice) now hipper than ever.
