Le Gateau Chocolat made global headlines when he appeared in the Wagner sanctuary, Bayreuth. The first drag singer of colour to enter this sacred ground. Now Le Gateau is diving into the world of divas with their awe-inspiring bass voice.

From Schubert to spirituals, Purcell to Radiohead and Wagner to Whitney Houston, Le Gateau Chocolat is not only an icon in voice and appearance but is a forerunner and figurehead of a world where genres no longer exist. Having performed at the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, Glyndebourne, Edinburgh Festivals and Bayreuth, among others, Le Gateau Chocolat comes to de Doelen with string quartet for an iconic diva programme.
