Laetitia Gerards is everywhere, from opera to Wie is de Mol. Not exactly a standard route for the up-and-coming soprano, not even in this concert. Elvis Costello's poppy Juliet Letters meets Ravel's exotic Chansons madécasses, together with the ADAM Quartet.

Elvis Costello's Juliet Letters are popular, but not many sopranos dare to sing it. The pop style demands something very different from a voice than a classical work like Ravel's Chansons madécasses, a little exotic gem and a well-kept secret in his oeuvre. Laetitia Gerards and the ADAM Quartet go their own way with this programme. They show themselves from different angles, but in doing so they are extra themselves.
