Truls Mørk plays Shostakovich's Second celloconcerto. 'Crushing, intense, breathtaking', according to the NRC regarding our last performance together.

Who can look at the stars on a winter night without becoming overwhelmed? Saariaho manages to evoke that feeling chillingly beautiful with her Ciel d'hiver. The two other composers featured in this concert also unfold an entire universe from one fragile solo - interpreted in Shostakovich's concert by Truls Mørk. Nine years ago, he last played the work with us: "crushing, intense, breathtaking," according to NRC.
