The feeling of spring – tingling fresh and full of energy – has never been better captured in music than by Vivaldi.

Spring is coming! In our hemisphere, at least - in the south, as in Buenos Aires, the coldest months are just approaching. Piazzolla expressed them glowingly in his Estaciones Porteñas, counterpart to Vivaldi's Four Seasons. This concert shows that his tango and milonga rhythms fit beautifully with the baroque splendor of his northern colleagues. Spring or fall, summer or winter, north or south: let's dance!

Have you seen the NEIGHBOURS exhibition? In the foyer of the Great Hall you can see beautiful portraits of local residents - poor, rich, hip, young and old. A nice mix of tradition and modernity. Definitely worth a visit before or after the concert!
