 De Doelen Studios are located on the groundfloor of de Doelen building, right in the heart of Rotterdam, within walking distance (400 meters) of Rotterdam Central Station, trams, metros and bus stops. There are several parking garages around de Doelen. This way you can easily find your way to our concert hall and conference center.

Taking photos or video recordings in the studio is permitted with consumer cameras. It is not permitted to bring professional photo, video and audio recording equipment inside without permission. By professional photo and film equipment we mean devices with interchangeable lenses and SLR cameras. 

If you have lost something, you can contact the lost and found department. This can be reached by telephone at 010 2171700. 

These can be addressed to contact@dedoelen.nl We aim to answer you within 10 days. 

If you need extra help, you can email contact@dedoelen.nl in advance. During your visit you can always speak to one of our employees for direct assistance. 

Guide and/or assistance dogs are allowed in the building. We kindly request that you inform us in advance if you wish to bring a guide and/or assistance dog. Only in the Doelen Studio are all other dogs welcome at all times. 

There are several parking garages in the immediate vicinity of de Doelen.

A taxi can drop you off/pick you up around de Doelen building.

Free Wi-Fi: 
We offer free Wi-Fi in all studios, ask our employees for the password. 
 
Toilets:  
There are toilets in studio 1, on the ground floor, including a disabled toilet. 

In Studio 1 you can enjoy delicious coffees, drinks, cocktails and snacks, including vegetarian options. From the end of September we also have lunch here and a studio menu in the evening. You can sit inside in our studio or outside on the terrace, see this page for more information about the menu and opening hours. 

Studio 3 offers a monthly changing three-course menu. For more information about the menu, opening hours, and to make a reservation, please visit this page. 

All studios are located on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible.

1. Showing identification is mandatory when requested by employees, so always take your ID with you.
2. If you do not comply with our house rules, De Doelen employees have the right to deny you access at any time.
3. Follow the instructions of the employees, for your own safety and that of others.
4. It is not permitted to bring drinks and/or food inside.
5. For your and our safety, De Doelen uses security cameras with the option of making recordings. Everyone who visits the Doelen agrees to recordings. These recordings can be used as evidence in the event of irregularities. In the event of an emergency, these recordings can be shown as supporting material and/or transferred to third parties.
6. Preventative checks/searches may be carried out. This check is mandatory and established in connection with the guarantee of general safety. You are obliged to cooperate with such an inspection.
7. De Doelen may require the use of the cloakroom. At almost all our events, free cloakroom service is included in the ticket service costs.
8. It is not allowed to take large bags into the hall.
9. De Doelen is in principle not liable for loss of or damage to property you have given for safekeeping or property left unattended by you.
10. De Doelen does not wish to enter into a storage agreement for objects (including possible contents) with a (total) value higher than €150. Objects (including possible contents) with a (total) value higher than €150 may not be handed in to the cloakroom. If you use the cloakroom, you guarantee that the value of an item to be delivered does not exceed €150, or that you realize that De Doelen cannot be held liable for loss and/or damage thereto. an amount higher than €150.
11. In the event of irrefutably proven liability of the Causes, this is at all times limited to €150 for each object delivered to the cloakroom (including contents). The company is not liable for damage other than damage to or in connection with the loss of an object itself, and therefore not for indirect and/or consequential damage.
12. Guide and/or assistance dogs are allowed in the building. We kindly request that you inform us in advance if you wish to bring a guide and/or assistance dog.
13. All other dogs are welcome at all times in the Doelen Studio.
14. Smoking is prohibited in the Doelen. Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas (outside).
15. The possession of weapons and/or dangerous/sharp objects is strictly prohibited.
16. The possession, use and trade in soft and hard drugs is strictly prohibited.
17. Persons who are clearly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be denied access.
18. It is prohibited to trade goods and/or resources in or around the Targets.
19. For visiting events independently (without the supervision of an adult), we apply a minimum recommended age of 14 years (unless otherwise stated on the event page).
20. No alcoholic drinks will be served to visitors under the age of 18.
21. Visitors under the age of 18 are not allowed access after 11:00 PM (unless stated otherwise on the event page).
22. We apply a minimum age of 8 years to visit classical concerts (unless otherwise stated on the event page).
23. It is not permitted to take glasses or bottles with or without drinks inside or outside.
24. Aggression, disruptive behavior, sexual harassment, racist, sexist, insulting and/or discriminatory statements in any form are absolutely not tolerated.
25. If gross misconduct, violations and/or crimes are discovered, the police will always be contacted.
26. Written permission must be obtained well in advance for promotional activities (flyers, posters, etc.).
27. De Doelen follows up on any service-restricting measures if these are imposed by the government. It is therefore possible that De Doelen, beyond its control, is limited in its ability to provide services to visitors, including, for example, the provision of a break drink or cloakroom. In this case, a refund of the price of the relevant service, which is initially included in the ticket price, is unfortunately not possible.
28. It is basically not allowed to make audio, photo and/or video recordings without permission.
29. It is not permitted to bring professional photo, video and audio recording equipment inside without permission. Consumer cameras are allowed. By professional photo and film equipment we mean devices with interchangeable lenses and SLR cameras.
30. It is not permitted to resell photos, videos or audio recorded in the Targets to third parties without prior permission.
31. De Doelen may decide to refuse you access, even if you are in possession of a valid admission ticket, if there are indications that could possibly lead to safety risks for visitors, players, artists and/or employees. It is up to the Causes to determine whether there are such possible risks. If access is refused for this reason and the admission ticket is declared invalid for this reason, the relevant ticket buyer (and known to De Doelen) will receive a refund of the purchase amount. In this case, De Doelen is not liable for any financial consequential damages.
32. De Doelen may decide to make image and/or sound recordings of the event and its visitors. These recordings may be made public or reproduced. The visitor gives unconditional permission to make these recordings and exploit them without De Doelen or third parties being or will be liable to pay compensation to the visitors. The visitor hereby transfers any neighboring and/or copyright and/or portrait rights to the organization without any restrictions. Furthermore, the visitor irrevocably waives the right to invoke his/her personality rights. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, we ask you to discuss this with De Doelen employees on site during the event.
33. During some events and/or concerts there is supervision and extra cleaning of the toilet groups. In this case, paying for toilet use is never mandatory, but is appreciated.
34. If you have complaints of any nature, you must send an email to contact@dedoelen.nl within 3 working days after the moment they arose. After that, it is no longer possible to submit complaints.

In addition to the above, the general visitor terms and conditions of the VSCD in de Doelen apply. In the event of any conflict with the house rules, the house rules will apply preferentially.

This summer, as a student you will receive a 20% discount on everything on the menu in de Doelen Studio, upon presentation of your student card. The promotion is valid until August 31, 2024. 

The discount applies to the entire menu in de Doelen Studio.
