A symphony orchestra that swings out of its ass, it can be done," wrote the Volkskrant not so long ago after a concert of ours with Lahav Shani as pianist. It was Count Basie's steamy big-band hit The Kid from Red Bank, arranged by Lahav himself, that thrilled orchestra, audience and press alike. High time for more of the same - with Lahav's brother Rom and the legendary WDR Big Band as special guests.
photo exhibition NEIGHBOURS
Have you seen the NEIGHBOURS exhibition? In the foyer of the Great Hall you can see beautiful portraits of local residents - poor, rich, hip, young and old. A nice mix of tradition and modernity. Definitely worth a visit before or after the concert!
