With her original blend of folk, indie and acoustic pop, Turkish singer-songwriter Kalben is a sensation in Istanbul. She draws inspiration from PJ Harvey, Sevinç Tevs, Nazan Öncel, David Bowie and Tom Waits.  
 
In 2014, Kalben was discovered on the platform Sofar Sounds, a performance with now more than 5 million views on Youtube. Since then, things have been going fast, with hits such as “Sadece,” “Yara” and “Saçlar,” for which she won the most important Turkish music awards.
