The Goldberg variations

Step into the world of Johann Sebastian Bach and enjoy his Goldberg Variations, performed on the Doelen organ. This masterpiece, originally written for the harpsichord, becomes even more impressive on the organ, with its rich, deep tones and full sound.

The Goldberg Variations are one of the highlights of Baroque music. This work consists of 30 variations, based on a simple yet beautiful melody. Each variation brings something new: from lively and energetic pieces to moments of calm and reflection.

Café Marseille, pet store De Rimboe, and ice cream shop De Ijssalon set the scene for a lively area where residents of all ages and styles come together. Photographer Robin Utrecht and creative producer Mieke van der Linden shine a spotlight on this diversity with a series of portraits.
