For this exhibition, the International Film Festival Rotterdam is hosting two exhibitions and an installation.

Exhibition | Faces of Rotterdam: a glimpse into our 170+ nationalities
Robert Tjalondo

The ongoing project Faces of Rotterdam brings the city to life with a selection of stories and faces from 170+ nationalities in our port city, including a number of IFFR volunteers. Through community centres and networks, a spontaneous and warm tribute to inclusion and connection is created.

Installations | AN ANIMATED DOG READS BERGER, HARAWAY, KAFKA
Matthew Lax | Caleb Craig

An animated dog explores the complex, philosophical bond between humans and dogs and reflects on freedom, closure, identity and the changing role of animals in society.

Exhibitions | Focus: Timoteus Anggawan Kusno
In a landscape

The charcoal drawings of Timoteus Anggawan Kusno explore memory, power and history, bringing together personal and collective stories. The darkness and contrast feel familiar and alienating. In this way, the drawings make us think about the past and its continued presence in the present.

Opening hours

Friday 31 Jan to Saturday 8 February from 12:00 - 21:00h
