The Radio Philharmonic Orchestra brings Messiaen’s monumental Turangalîla-Symphony to life under the baton of chief conductor Karina Canellakis. Since 1945, the orchestra has combined tradition with innovation and is known for its bold programming and performances of both classical and contemporary repertoire.

Messiaen’s love letter to life is a whirlwind symphony bursting with ecstatic colours, Eastern influences, and jazz rhythms. In the hands of Canellakis and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the boundaries between past and future blur, unfolding into a pure musical sensation.
