International Women's Day: opening of The Rotterdam Year of the Woman
On March 8, we celebrate the 50th edition of International Women's Day, a milestone that is extra special this year. Rotterdam is seizing this milestone to dedicate ten months of the city to women and all they mean to Rotterdam. The Rotterdam Year of the Woman runs from March 8 to December 10 and is dedicated to visibility, empowerment and connection.
The kickoff begins on Saturday, March 8, when de Doelen, in collaboration with Women of Rotterdam and the Rotterdam Library, will host a special program. Inspiring activities will focus on the power of women. Join us, celebrate the power of women and be inspired.
