With an extraordinary career that began at the age of 11, Midori is a violinist that generations have grown up with. It is her famous performances that still set the standard in many people's minds. 

She continues to play extraordinary music forty years later. Midori has chosen a programme that includes the great violin sonatas by Mozart and Brahms, but also an unexpected underdog from the violin repertoire: Richard Strauss' sonata. All in all, a tour de force worthy of her status as a legendary violinist.
