Dekker

American singer & songwriter Brookln Dekker, better known by his surname-moniker, DEKKER (and for wearing his unique wide-brimmed hat) is setting out for some intimate solo shows in the Spring of 2025. Let’s call it a Telling Stories Tour. 
 
Of this Brookln said, “Over the years I have had to find ways to connect with the audience since I’ve decided to obscure my face and can’t rely on it to convey my sincerity. I’ve learned to open up in new ways and have enjoyed telling stories of occurrences around the making of certain songs and records. I’m looking forward to reimagining and retelling some of my songs and stories in a unique and intimate way next Spring.” 
 
Brookln has been on a roll since August of 2019 when we first heard his voice as Dekker. Three albums, an e.p. and a couple of hundred performances later, which, since the virus years, is a feat in itself; we find Dekker picking up speed and attention all across Europe. 
 
In early 2025, Dekker will begin releasing singles from his fourth full length album due out later in the same year. 
 
What you can expect from the Telling Stories Tour is a soulfully delivered set of songs old and new punctuated by anecdotes in the delicate, personal and humorous stylings of Dekker.
