Adriaan Hoek and the Netherlands Symphonic Accordion Orchestra join forces in a unique program in which grand sounds and unusual combinations come together. Adriaan Hoek can shine amidst the orchestral splendor in the virtuoso Organ Concerto by Poulenc. 
 
From the intense rhythms in Piazzolla’s Tangazo to the jazz influences in Gershwin’s Three Preludes, each composition shows a different side of these instruments. The concert culminates in the overwhelming final passage of Mahler’s Second Symphony.
