Seema Anand is a captivating storyteller and mythologist specialising in women’s narratives and an award winning author. She uses stories for entertainment, therapy, education and for positive action change. Combining academic expertise with cultural knowledge she lectures on several ancient Indian texts, including the Kama Shastra. This will be her first-ever appearance in the Netherlands!

Join Seema at de Doelen as she embarks on a journey through the ancient Indian wisdom of the Kama Shastra. The Kama Sutra, compiled by Vatsayayan in the third century, is the oldest and most notable of a group of texts on erotic love from ancient India known generically as the Kama Shastra.This insightful talk will explore themes of love, pleasure, and mindful seduction, offering a fresh perspective on these timeless concepts.
