GirlPower On Stage

A live radio broadcast with live music from Doelen Studio! Here unknown and upcoming, ambitious bands get the chance to play a set of 3 songs for the audience present and the listeners of GirlPower Radio. 

The presentation is in the hands of again young ambitious talent in collaboration with a senior DJ of GirlPower Radio. The goal is: To give young musical and presentation talent a stage, and to teach them “the business” by doing and working together with experienced presenters, technicians and musicians. Of course, if you have a full band and want to play, that's great. Are you a singer songwriter and don't actually play an instrument but have a book of genius lyrics? Then the GirlPower Radio house band will support you.

PLÅNET
“Houston we have a problem!”...but it's certainly not up to four-piece Leiden band PLÅNET! PLÅNET easily navigates a galaxy of funk and Krautrock. Naturally lands in orbit around the meteor of folk music and heads straight for the moon of Disco. Guitarist Rense, bassist Daan and drummer Eduardo began in 2023 as a jam band where they improvised mostly galactic themes together. Since 2024, together with singer-songwriter and queen of kleinkunst Isha van der Burg, they form the band PLÅNET. With the “crew” now complete, the formation plays (mostly) their own material with the energy of a live show on a Dwarf Star. With that, their unique form of experimental star-gazing indie funk rock actually falls under the heading: Kosmische Musik! 

Two End Faces
The Hague-based dreampop band Two End Faces is known for their introspective lyrics, dreamy guitar playing, hypnotic synths and eclectic drums. Both music and performance are edged with mystery where the listener is immersed in a melancholic bath filled with longing, hope, fear, loss and unanswered questions. In 2022, Two End Faces presented their first two singles “Fragrance of Love” and “Quiet Room. Currently, Two End Faces is being coached in their songwriting and artist development by Anna Lena Bruland (EERA). Together with Ådne Meisfjord (120 Days), Two End Faces recorded two new singles in Berlin at Street Pulse studio. The first single “Tiny Particles” is expected in April 2025.
